What is Vinyl Lettering?
Vinyl lettering is made up of individual letters cut from high-quality adhesive vinyl. Unlike printed stickers, our vinyl lettering is cut from solid-coloured vinyl sheets and has no background. This makes it a great choice for vehicle graphics, window signs, outdoor signs, and banners.
What is your vinyl lettering suitable for?
You can use our vinyl lettering for vehicle graphics, indoor and outdoor signs, window signs, and wall decals.
How long does vinyl lettering last?
Our vinyl is designed to last 5 to 7 years outdoors, and it often lasts even longer indoors. How long it lasts depends on things like sunlight, weather, and the surface you apply it to. We use Oracal 561 from Germany to make sure it’s as durable as possible.
What's the difference between cut and printed vinyl?
Cut vinyl uses solid-coloured self-adhesive film cut to match your design, making it great for simple text and single-colour logos. Printed vinyl, on the other hand, lets you use full-colour designs, gradients, and photos; it’s printed on white vinyl and covered with a laminate for extra durability.
What surfaces work best for vinyl lettering?
Self-adhesive vinyl sticks best to smooth, clean surfaces like glass, painted walls, metal, plastic, and sealed wood. Avoid using it on unpainted wood, fabric, rough surfaces, or freshly painted walls. If the wall is freshly painted, wait at least 30 days before applying.
Can I supply my artwork?
Yes, you can use any program to design your artwork and email it to us. For vinyl lettering, we prefer vector formats like PDF, EPS, AI, or SVG. If you don’t have the right format, just send what you have. We can usually recreate your design at no extra cost.
How to install the vinyl lettering?

- What tools do I need for installation?
You’ll need a clean cloth, a mild cleaner such as isopropyl alcohol, some masking tape to help with positioning, and a squeegee or even a credit card. - Can I remove the vinyl lettering?
Yes! You can remove vinyl without damaging most surfaces. Use a hair dryer to warm the vinyl, then peel slowly at a 45-degree angle. You can remove any adhesive residue with adhesive remover or warm soapy water. - What if I make a mistake during installation?
You can prick small bubbles with a pin and smooth them out. For major errors, carefully remove and reapply – though the adhesive may be less effective.
